Overlord MONTY

Truly, a horse with everything it takes to make it to the highest echelons of dressage. Monty has size, presence, movement, and trainability that belie his young age. A 2009 GOV registered gelding, Monty currently stands just over 16.3hh with a little growing still to come in his four year old year. He is solidly built with correct conformation and excellent feet. Monty was lightly started in the summer of 2012 and has contined in a careful program balancing light hacking with appropriate work in the foundations of dressage. His ground covering gaits suggest some breathtaking extensions are in his future, but the collected work will be equally easy with his natural suspension and use of the hindquarter! Monty is exceptionally balanced and straight for a young horse and has a relaxed but studious work ethic. Hacks out, clips, ties, bathes, good for vet and farrier. Monty is ready to embark on the beginnings of a dressage career that we have no doubt will one day culminate in the Grand Prix ring!
