Ed Venture

Ed Venture is nationally ranked in the top 10 for USEF yearling hunter breeding. Proving to be a contender at many top shows across the east coast, Eddie placed 2nd at his first hunter breeding show St. Christopher’s then came back to win 1st at Blue Rock the following week. He then traveled to the prestigious Devon Horse Show where he placed 2nd out of a large class of very talented youngsters. This was only his third show and he behaved like a perfect gentleman. Following his 2nd place at Devon he won both classes at Boumi Temple and earned a Reserve Best Young horse and Reserve hunter breeding Best Young Horse. Eddie closed his yearling hunter breeding season by placing 3rd at Upperville Colt and Horse show and by placing 2nd and 4th at Maryland Horse and Pony. Christian Schacht the Oldenburg inspector/director of breeding complimented Ed Venture on his presence, natural hunter movement and correctness of conformation. He stated that Eddie is a perfect example of what hunter breeding programs should strive towards breeding.
