“Henry” had 30 days of training in June, and then an additional 2 weeks in September. He received his training by a Gerry Erwin, a professional trainer, who says, “he is extremely willing and wants to understand what is being asked of him. Very easy to start, and never once resisted.” Currently, he is 17+ hands, and still growing, so his training has been extremely slow going.
As a yearling, he competed in USDF Breed Shows. As a 2 year old and 3 year old, he has competed in the Young Horse Show Series. He qualified and competed in the finals held at Wellington last year, and was 4th in both the In Hand finals and the Jump Chute finals.
Henry is handled daily by amateurs, and is turned out with another horse. He clips, cross ties, ties, and loads.
